In a bustling city, the saying “True recluse hides in the city” holds, as Taoist Zhao Xidou and his apprentice Wang Shangrun open a business called “Bold and Brave,” a seemingly ordinary escape room. While running the business, they help customers solve various “supernatural phenomena.” However, both the escape room and the pair’s identities are far from simple. The special NPCs in the room aren’t even human, and it turns out the master is from a famous Taoist sect. The apprentice, who often wakes from nightmares, harbors a mysterious past.
