I don’t get the idea behind the show. At the beginning it was hinted many times, he discovers the origin of all the different sects and “martial arts”. That all of them originate from the same place, Dark Magic, Buddhism, Sword Dao, etc. somehow split up into different sects.

And he was suppose to combine all of it. Remember the Cave he was trapped in with the girl. He saw the secret writing on the wall.
Using the combined power and knowledge of all the sects. But that was completely dropped.
The show even started with him using Buddhism before entering the Sword Sect. Something that is basically “forbidden”. No one is allowed to learn the secrets from other sects or you get Executed. As we saw in Season One, before he became a school dropout…

And he also doesn’t seem to get stronger anymore, no more cultivation. Instead he became a drunk, cultivating in wine 🍷. I feel like the show is walking in circles, going nowhere.

Where exactly is this show heading? i hope its not the trashcan 🗑️
