ugh.. this plot thread is just DRAGGING… and what’s up w/ sister-in-law saying “be careful, don’t forget she’s waiting for you”? I mean… it’s not like master waifu is infirm or anything so no one questions WHY she isn’t there w/ everyone else? Something that confused me was why Hong Chen’s blood was golden. And if he’s future Ye Chen then how did he end up married to Yu instead? Though maybe it’s the whole “back in time, lose memories, hooks up w/ someone else because doesn’t know” sorta thing… but he clearly recognized master waifu when her veil fell off and she recognized him without the tengu mask which leads me to speculate that she’s completely aware of what’s going on when the evil sword takes control… so an extra f*ck her for how many times she’s tried to kill the man she claims to love.
