The movie wasn’t bad. And we finally got some long deserved ancient god action we were all waiting for. But i think the plot with the Demon City should not have happened during the (early) deity transformation stage, at all!
The stupid demons are up to 5 thousand years old. And somehow can’t manage to break through deity transformation? And the arrogant young one got the combined power of all the previous demon kings, and is still stuck at late stage deity transformation? That makes absolutely no sense.
The entire power balance was complete whack and nonsensical. Wang Lin should not be able to defeat them this early on. He should be at the very least Ascendant Realm or higher. This is the bare minimum power these demons should have reached to be even considered dangerous. Let alone how “dangerous” they were portrait in this movie.
Literally every Master in the Snow Region could have defeated them. Not to mention the power houses of the Soul Flag Sect.
But i loved the Cash Coin Sword. Be defeated by the power of capitalism!! katsching $$ some moa!
Cultivation can not be stacked on one another just based on different souls living in one body. The only reason Wang li Twin body unification results in power surge is mainly due to different types of cultivation which is not just rare but a road never walked. I mean, an Acient body isnt something people come across everyday. Many 5 star cultivation country would sacrifice thier title for what Wang li got. The Demon city Lords for some unknown reason have a cultivation limitation which hinders each of them from getting to soul transformation hence the 6 thousand years cultivation route. They foresaw a path to achieve the enlightenment by getting and refinning our protagonist’s soul(Acient body ) which for some reason failed due to miscalculation(one soul of wan li but two cosiousness. lol, i know that seem weird but that was exactly why they failed. people dont know much about the Acient body. Wang li suffered loss of cultivation just so that his clone can become consious. A road never walked indead
