I swear to god, who ever translates these animes has a cookie for brains! Are these translators illiterate or what is going on?
When they say i, they mean someone else, and not one self!
When they say she and her. They actually mean he/him (man) or outright the guy aka main character. WTF are we even translating here!?
Even if they use AI to auto translate. The person who puts the actual subtitle in the video can’t be less smarter than a cookie jar!
That person has to notice at some point in time, the entire context of the dialog is just wrong 100% of the time, every time! And who dafuq is Monday? His name is Zhou Yi!!
Example sentence:
“What is her background” “She is the first freshman.” “She is so handsome” – They mean him, the main character, the guy….
“He will look at me differently” “What happened to him” – Now they talk about a woman. Completely reversing “she” with “he” and vise versa.
As someone who watches a ton of these random Chinese shows and animated comics. Yes basically all of them are like this. Also you get used to it and almost don’t even notice the errors at some point.
The mix up with the genders is so frequent that I had to google to see if the Chinese don’t actually use he for a woman and she for a man lmao…. They don’t btw just the translators are dumb asf lol
